Viv graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2010 and went on to win the Highly Commended Award at the Spotlight Prize and perform in the Old Vic 24 Hour plays that same year.

In Spring 2020, Viv was to play a lead role in Gareth Farr's new play 'Shandyland' at Northern Stage, Liverpool Everyman, York Theatre Royal & Oldham Coliseum.
Due to the global pandemic, the production was rescheduled for Spring 2021, however because of continuing restrictions, it was cancelled.

Viv's acting credits include 'England is Mine' (Essoldo Pictures), 'National Treasure' (Channel 4) and 'Daily Plays' (Pleasance London).
